My Story

I am a Latina who grew up in the border city of El Paso. I was a varsity cheerleader and graduated high school top 5% of my class and also 7 months pregnant at 17 years old. I married my high school sweetheart and started college. It took my a while to graduate because I went on to have two more babies. I received my bachelor's degree at age 26 after having my third child. I started my career as a middle school math teacher and by the grace of God managed to stay married and raise 3 amazing humans. Although life was challenging for us, we made it through and celebrated 30 years together this year. My children are my world and their character and success has me gleaming with pride. All the hard work was well worth it! That same drive and determination carries on to my passion for fitness. I turned to fitness as a way to cope with stress and put aside time for myself in my crazy busy life as a mom, a wife and a teacher. My love for Lagree and the Versa Climber grows more and more with each class. I love working with my amazing fellow instructors and awesome clients. Many of whom have become my dearest friends. I love being a part of something that promotes strength and wellness. I am forever grateful to TLS for the opportunity to do what I love.
